It is a common practice in near all the meat industries, to measure humedity and temperature as basic control variables and as curing process step parameters.
Wind velocity is also a variable that enhance drying and curing process, when is carried aout in natural driers.
It is usually not measured becuase of the lack of information about comercial devices of simple and practical use, althouhg it would provide a very useful information to the traditional way of control consisting of the manual windows closing and oppening .
With devices easy to be installed in a natural drier It is possible:
- To register the variables history of a whole month, either temperature and humidity, as well as wind velocity and direction in the drier.
- To represent its evolution graphics.
- To activate an alarm system when any of this variables break the limit value, to proceed to the windows closing and oppenig.
